Privacy Policy

Last updated September 2026

This policy explains what Hunch collects when you use Hunch, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

  • Quiz answers you give during setup, stored in your browser and, once you buy, alongside your account.
  • Email address when you check out or sign in. We never see or store your card details; Whop processes payment.
  • Usage and device data (pages viewed, buttons tapped, approximate location from IP, browser type) via PostHog, including session replays of how the app is used. Replays mask text you type.
  • Marketing attribution: which ad or partner link brought you here (click IDs and campaign parameters), stored in a first-party cookie for up to 90 days so we can pay partners and measure ads.

How we use it

  • To run the Service: sign you in, deliver your plan, send transactional email (sign-in codes, receipts, access changes).
  • To measure and improve the funnel and product, including A/B tests of pricing and copy.
  • To measure advertising. We share a hashed version of your email and the purchase amount with Meta (Conversions API) and with our affiliate network (Everflow) so ads and partners are credited. We do not sell your data.

Who we share it with

Whop (payments), Resend (email), PostHog (analytics), Neon (database hosting), Vercel (hosting), Meta and Everflow (ad and affiliate measurement).

Cookies

We use first-party cookies for sign-in, attribution and analytics, and the Meta Pixel where enabled. You can clear or block cookies in your browser; sign-in will stop working without them.

Retention

Account and billing records are kept while your account exists and for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Analytics data is kept for up to 12 months.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, or have it deleted by contacting us. If you are in the EU/UK or California you have additional rights under GDPR and CCPA, which we honour.

Children

Hunch is for adults 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger.
